How to store gelatin finings

I just got my first flask of gelatin today and I can't find instructions about storage anywhere.

Should I keep it refrigerated?

What's a flask of gelatin?

Gelatin powder doesn't have any special storage requirements.

You should make it right before you use it (or not use it at all ).

Do you mean isinglass by chance?

Throw the liquid out. It's stupid unstable and probably already denatured. Get the powdered stuff and make it fresh (but be prepared for the smell...)

It's definitely liquid.
Maybe it's a totally different ingredient.
Not sure about that.

How were they storing it in the brew shop? Just on a shelf?
