I've been brewing beer for several years now but my friends are asking to make a hard soda and they would like to see something like a hard Big Red or some other hard cream soda. I know I could just take some vodka or something and just add it but what's the fun in that? So just playing around with a few 2 liters of soda, I have no idea how much sugar needs to be added if any at all. I have some priming sugar from way back when I used to bottle just sitting on the shelf. Regular sugar, etc. Any recommendations or am I looking at an epic fail even attempting it? As far as yeast, Ill try with just bread yeast and maybe ale yeast dry or something.
