so i am sitting here thinking of how much i enjoyed drinking barley wines when i was not gluten free. and i came up with an extract GF "Barley wine"...
3 Gallon batch 45min boil
5LB 3oz Sorghum syrup (used 1LB for another 3 gallon batch)
1LB 5oz brown rice syrup
8oz molasses
4oz honey (flameout)
4oz toasted oats (steep for 1hr at 155.. thinking about not using oats)
Hops (what i have on hand)
45 min 1/2oz amarillo
45min 1/2oz german hallertau
30min 1/2oz cascade
20min 1/2oz amarillo
10min 1/2oz cascade
5min 1/2oz german hallertau
yeast- us 05 dry yeast
misc ingredients
45min 1tsp gypsum
10min 1/2 whirlfloc tablet
5min 4oz maltodextrin
5min 1tsp yeast nutrient
