I'm from NJ and were doing the last harvesting of our sweet corn. I was thinking about picking up a bunch of fresh ears and try to incorporate it into a recipe.

Has anyone worked with fresh corn?

If so how would you go about using it?

(Was thinking about striping the ears, grinding the kernels and using it in the mash)

Thoughts/ideas?

Check out this thread, it has some guidance on how to use fresh sweet corn. Sounds like a cereal-style approach is best. Note the corn's water weight wrt dialing up a recipe...

Cheers!

(but i only drink so i can understand computers)

There was a rogue quote (no idea where the hell that came from) plus an extra url tag at the lead end.
I went into the advanced editor and got rid of the cruft...

Cheers!
