Hey, does anyone have ideas for altering my Chinook IPA kit from northern brewer? It consisted of .75 at 60.... .5 at 10... .5 at 1...and then 1oz dry hop. Along with 10 lbs of rahr 2row.... .75 of belgian caremel pils and .25 of briess caremel 120.

I have an extra ounce of simcoe and 1 of citra.

Suggestions for tomorrows brew?....GO!!!

Oh and thanks!

Hmm? I thought there would've been an easy answer but perhaps I'm impatient...

Well, after sifting through all the advice...I went and added .75 of simcoe at 15 and .25 of simcoe at flameout. Am thinking of adding the 1 oz Chinook for dry hop as well as 1oz of the citra I have.

Any issues for concern? Imbalance? Too bitter?

And having not done many dry yeast packets...does it hurt to shake the carboy around after adding yeast? They don't all seem to be sitting on top anymore.
