I needed some cascade hops and Yakima Chief had them on sale $1 per 2 ounce package. Could not beat the price and with them in two ounce packs they should stay nice and fresh.

I'm showing $0.75 for 2 ounces of cascade, which is $6/lb. And it's 2018 crop rather than 2017. It does seem like an exceptional deal, especially since it's more convenient having the smaller bags. You totally can beat the price if you buy in bulk: https://www.yakimavalleyhops.com/Cascade_2017_Hops_16oz_p/hopscascade1-2017crop.htm
Yep, that's a good one too.
(I usually buy by the half or full pound, especially for commonly used hops like Cascade, and I don't think 2017 or 2018 makes a big difference given the way YVH treats its hops.)
Care to elaborate on the way Yakima treats its hops?
How do you get free shipping? My cheapest option is $8. With free shipping I'd place an order right away.I thought getting a pound of 2018 Cascade in sealed two ounce packs for $8 was a good price especially with free shipping.
I have 5# of various hops already on order from hops direct.
