Now idea which post to re-read. Just want this thread to keep running.. Cause I really like it here :drunk:

The one with the embedded YouTube video (really lschiavo's posting). It may or may not matter to you... using the app 100% of the time, I have no idea whose YouTube links are embedded.

However, I do know why bottlebomber has been confused in the past! I don't use Facebook or really Twitter, but half the time he posts a shortened link (I assume especially from the latter) from youtu.be; TX could technically fix the system to work with both formats, but no **** it don't work!

Johnny Cash was a wild man. Drugs, alcohol, fame and extremely deep. Pretty sure his humble heart and fretting voice could easily sing that song

Ischiavo, I once called you and electrician. Think you have had a little more schooling than that. Still.. same type of people. I don't know why.. Just how it is.

That is Danzig covering his song. If you like Cash, you will like Danzig. A bit heavier but the same...somehow.

I make my money (very little) as an electrical contractor. I have a degree in EE. It was the wrong choice for me. I like electrical design but rarely have a chance for that in my family business. Someday, I hope to be an astronomer or porn star: I am studying both...:D

Your avatar is not helping. I see through it though. You are calling out to me somehow. I think if you "liked" one of my posts things would be better for you.

That would require loading up a browser ;)

Honestly though, my avatar is a bit of a reaction to the avatars of Dan, PP, and TX. A polar opposite, almost. I figured eventually I'd switch to something similar to their's just to see if I got a significantly different response. Still might... but that would require loading up the browser!

The birds are chirping! Time to get up!

I have two birds (parrots, really, though neither speak). The Senegal keeps reasonable hours but he's an absolute *******, while the lovebird (the runt of the brood) chirps pretty much any time he thinks he should.

Man that took a long time to get caught up reading :D Between normal springtime stuff and getting ready to go camping I just have not had time to spend on the computer.

I am kind of happy though. The transmission in my lawnmower finally died. While most folks might be bummed to have to buy a new mower and I am bummed about that I get to tear apart a hydrostatic transmission and see how they work. That and I got a sweet 20 horse motor now I can put on something :D

I get all the time about how I must be a alcoholic because I home brew. I will brew every two weeks until I got no room to stash the beer and then quit for awhile. It might seem like a lot but I give away more beer than I drink by far. I would guess a 6 pack of 4% beer is about the most I will drink and that might be 2 a week. Boy saying that though I am going to have to admit while camping I will drink a ton of beer. For me camping is a exercise in excess. Lots of good food and good beer shared with good friends

Whew, every time I thought I was to the last page, there was another page. The new motor on your lawnmower will be awesome!!

Also realized I keep this site open a lot even when I am not near my computer, so makes it look like I am always online. This site, facebook, and my own forum, and whatever I'm currently searching on google. 4 tabs always open. Maybe if I'd shut my computer down more often, it would behave better. It's still saying my plug-in is vulnerable but when I did finally try to update, I got an error message.

Brewing today so happy brew dance!

:ban:

Whenever I tell my doctor or other people notice I've been drinking a lot lately, instead of calling me an alcoholic, they say, "Oh, she's self-medicating again." I get stressed and I need more drugs!!! Usually around 3-5 days a month I get that way, right on schedule.

We have no idea when you're online. You're in invisible mode...remember?

Can you see me now? The novelty of being invisible wears off after a while. :cross:

To my boil now, stove is holding up. Took forever to get to a boil. An hour, 2 hours? Might need to get a propane set up for the patio here. Still no word on the job I wanted back home. So tomorrow I guess I will take a walk down the street and see if anyone here wants me. Still also looking into the nursing school thing. Got my CD sales, got some other residual income coming in, and living here is cheap. But I must do something more than wait for wort to boil.

I hear about it all the time people act like 5 gallons is an undrinkable amount, I explain that it is only 50 glasses. Although when they look at the keezer I just smile

Beautiful! You're going to need more glasses if you invite us for a sample. :mug:

You could add some hops while you're at it.....:)

Seriously though, I would just offer to keep your son's place stocked up with beer in return for free rent. Sounds like a fair deal to me. All his buddies can chip in for ingredients. You could go from farmer to subsistence brewer. :pipe:

That's yours? Good god man.

B52 shots
Hmm, that might be nice. I don't have any kahlua or cognac though...

...I haven't had a ****ty computer since high school. While you folk are a kinder lot, I'm not sure it's in my best interests to explain why... again.
Hmm. I built a gaming system about 7 years ago. I've done a few upgrades since, but not a huge number. The system is still running perfectly well. Though I lost interest in gaming, so I'm not asking to to do any of that anymore. It's also a linux system, so I haven't suffered from the typical continued degradation in system performance more typical of windows systems.

I suppose it depends on what you would define as a ****ty computer. Mine works perfectly well for what I want it to do.
I read that instructional garbage and still don't think I can do it from this ancient netbook. I am, however happy to be inebriated with you:mug:

Nobody has accused me of being a drunk, I must not brew enough...:mug:

When I show my brewery and beer collection to my friends they accuse me of being an OCD drunk. I'm not even sure what that is! I showed my brewery to a buddy today and he said; "What?!?! You weren't happy enough with gardening and all the other crap you do?" I thought about it and simply answered; "No!"...

On another note...
We're finally getting our very first bonafide craft beer fest this September. There's supposed to be a large number of craft breweries participating, and they're also having a homebrew competition. I'm super excited about attending a beer fest with real craft beers! A couple friends from beerforum have convinced me to enter a couple of my recipes. I'm not one to enter beer comps, but it kind of sounds like a fun idea. I might be entering my saison, IIPA, and a new sour saison I designed.

I made some oat tea stuff. 1 quart of warm water. 1 tbs lime zest, can't taste this though. 1/2 cup brown sugar. 1 cup old fashioned rolled oats. Stirred it up, and let it sit for a couple hours on the counter. Stirred it up again, then poured off the liquid. It's actually pretty good. Reminds me of unfermented wort, and oatmeal.

I started this thread on the Drunken Ramblings tab. I get that way and figured it would be a place to put up my words.

Today I realized the threads I read these days are just the ones I started. Pretty selfish of me. So instead of the "Threads Posted" link I went to "New Posts" Many great reads and it reminds me of why I love this site so much.

Still though, find myself back here on this one. Great people, a special community of HBT. I like this thread quite a bit.

Might be LG's last music video that has me more introspective than usual. Thanks Lg, my friend.

I love posting Johnny Cash music.. That's just me. I have another thread called "My favorite Country Songs" or something close to that. I think it is a good thread and the people who post there (some of who are here now) find comfort in that place as well.

I enjoy talking with people I'v never met in person but people with minds open.

Since I'm being arrogant and talking about myself, I'd like to mention one other thread I started called "Anybody up for a riddle". I really love that one. A lot.

Okay, so I'm a vain person. That's me.

/rant. For now :mug:

Don't forget to use your happy hops. :mug:

OK Stauffbier, what does the quote say in your signature? I don't speak a lick of German, and I'm too lazy to translate via google.
