Hi everyone,

Been homebrewing over a year now and have had 3-4 solid batches in a row, starting to really get the hang of it. So, I decided I wanted to try my hand at adding fruit to beer.

I got an extract kit from Northern Brewer for a wheat ale base (I normally do partial mash but due to the pandemic, my homebrew shop is closed and this was what was available)

After one week in the fermentor I added the strawberry puree using a sanitized funnel and tube. After another week, a low FG and no more bubbling, it was time to bottle. However, the puree seems to keep separating from the beer. Even after transferring from fermentor to another vessel for bottling, it settled by the end of the process. The first few dozen bottles were consistent but the last 1/2 dozen or so are way more pink in color.

what do you think the reasons are? Something I did or bad puree?
