Hey, I'm really really new to the whole plumbing thing, and I just soldered copper tubing together for my HERMS. I was getting sick of the compression fittings and I just wanted something prettier.
I know this is probably a stupid question, but with flux residue on the inside of the coil, shouldn't I be concerned? Will a certain amount of flushing the coil out take care of my worries?
It looks and smells like poo, so I'm worried about off flavors or whatever. I know, it's used in a lot of the joints in my home for water we use for just about everything, i just need some enlightenment.
Thanks zymurgists!
