Fermzilla rookie error

Hi, Ive just purchased my first brewing kit, a Fermzilla. I've added all my ingredients apart from the hops and I've noticed the red pressure relief valve on the lid is constantly letting pressure out slowly. I just pitched the yeast about 9 hours ago and was wondering why my spunding valve wasn't showing any pressure. Yes i now know i should have performed a pressure test before my first batch but obviously this is a rookie error and thinking a brand new system would be OK i didn't. Can anyone suggest anything, is it OK to take the lid off and have a look to see if i can do anything?
