I got ingredients to do a APA

11 lbs pale (2 row)
1 lb caramel/crystal 10L
8 oz Honey Malt

1 oz Cascade 60 min
.5 oz Cascade 30 min
1.5 oz Citra 5 min
.5 oz Cascade 1 min
.5 oz Citra 1 min.

Wyeast American Ale II

Does the hop schedule seem right?

Looks pretty good. Maybe add an ounce or half of citra for a dry hop? It'll help the aroma significantly.

Agreed, looks great....but I'm a fan of dry hopping too.:tank:

We did an experiment of a single hopped citra beer at my local homebrew club where one part of the beer was just flameout/wirlpool and the other half was dry hopped.
The taste and aroma was HUGE between the two. The dry hopped version was a majority favorite of the too.
I personally think any APA/IPA should be dry hopped.

Im a big fan of dry hopping, and hops in general but I just brewed up 2 5 gallon batches of IPA's and my husband wanted me to brew something a little less hoppy!
