Made a belgian dubbell pitched rehydrated yeast t-58 and went for a 50 mile bike ride i get back an check on it and its already fartin thru the airlock. I've made many belgians using t58 an never had fermentation start so fast.

What are some of your fastest times for fermentation starting?

Finished a batch last night at 8:00PM and pitched 90ml of us-05 slurry from a local brewery. At 6:00AM it's going good and at 2:00PM it's going like crazy. Current carboy temp at 65*F.

My very first batch was a guiness extra stout clone used a dry yeast that I don't remember the type of but in took 6 hours and bam bubbling away.

My last batch was a brown ale using WLP037 (Yorkshire square ale). I made a large starter due to it being an older vial, and used pure O2 for the first time for aeration.

I had airlock activity in 2.5 hours. I kept it cool, though, so it never got explosive - but it bubbled along steadily for a solid week.
