does anyone know if Anheuser-Busch used aluminum kegs or are all of them stainless steel? I have a chance to get a 15 gallon for a fair price if it is ss. They say it is aluminum put the picture looks like stainless. any input will be appreciated. Thanks :mug:

i have seen a bunch of aluminum kegs, if you have a rare earth magnet use that to check, stainless will have a faint magnetism aluminum will have none. or get an angle grinder... stainless will shoot off sparks and aluminum will just clog you wheel...

Aluminum kegs are shaped different than what people use as keggles and almost all of them have a center tap port that uses a G-series coupler.
its rare to see an AB, but lots of Miller, Coors and Pabst.
if you've never seen an aluminum beer keg, you've never been to a dragstrip on nostalgia or RWYB night.
