I've done a bunch of searching on this, have not found enough info and am not sure which route I should go.
I'm currently building a jockey box for a family event, which I plan to have for a very long time. Consists of 50' SS coil - 3/8" OD with about 6-8' total of 1/4" ID tubing on each end. I would like to try and push the beer to the taps with my co2 charger instead of lugging my Co2 tank around.
Would this require way too many 16g cartridges (normally 3-4/5 gal)? Or should I just bring my co2 tank?
This is the info I am using (from Brad Smith):
1/4″ ID vinyl tubing = 0.85 psi/ft
3/8″ OD Stainless tubing = 0.2 psi/ft
50 ft SS = 10psi
8 ft Vinyl = 6.8psi = 16.8 psi total
Any advice is appreciated
Cheers!
