Just had to share this one. I was all excited about doing my first yeast starter and brewing my first lager this weekend. My wife decided to open all the windows and doors in the house today and I get home to find this in my yeast starter!

I think I'm just going to by a couple of packs of Wyeast and brew anyway instead of doing another starter. What a bummer! :(

That's a real bummer. Damn!

You might still consider a starter because I'm not sure that 2 wyeast lager packs will be enough. I think you'll get 200 billion yeast at best with 2 packs and with lagers you're usually aiming for almost double that for a typical 5 gallon batch (unless you're fermenting at ale temperatures; ie. cali common)
