Thinking about selling my keggles after some issues. I brew 95% of the time 5 gallon batches and rarely a 10 gallon batch. What would you go with 15 or 20 gallon kettles? Is 20 gallon overkill for my use? Looking at Stout kettles, with horizontal thermos for 5 gallon batches. Price difference is not much more to go up to 20 gallon. Just would like to hear some opinions. Thanks!

yeah, i'm curious too. why would you go from a 15 gallon kettle to a 20 or another 15 if you are brewing 5 gallon batches?

To answer your question... Yes, a 20 gallon kettle is over kill for what you're looking for. A 15 gal kettle is plenty to do your 5gal batches and the occasional 10gal batch.
