Been thinking about making a grain mill. Had some time and decided to have a go at it. Having only seen pictures of these things, I was not sure how everything worked. I got it all figured out on paper. Then got to work. It is adjustable from .005" to .089". 1.5" dia. Rollers 4" long. Should do the job. Now if I only had some grain to test it with.

What steps did you take in making this?
Did you make or buy the rollers?
Do you work in a machine shop?
Automated system or by hand?

It's very nice work! You'll have to tell us how well it crushes!

Looks great!! how much did it cost to put together?? and +1 on sharing your plans.

Thanks for the compliments. As for the cost I used scraps from the local scrap yard. Total cost was $18! Not too bad. The plans are just scratched down on a couple pcs of paper. I do work in a machine shop, so I had no costs in machining. I will make a list and put some basic plans together after I see how it works.
