Short and simple. My first time using clear Candi Sugar, I was wondering if anyone had experience with it and whether or not a refractometer would be able to read it correctly. My first inclination was that I would have to go back to using the hydrometer, because since it is clear, the refractometer will not correctly detect the presence of the candi sugar.

Any experience will be appreciated.

And I already googled: site:homebrewtalk.com clear candi sugar refractometer
