I am participating in a local brewery's first "Wort Transformation" where they provide the wort and we take it home and add what we want. I was thinking of just some dry hopping to try and make a tasty IPA, but I would also like to know what some you might add to make it more interesting. That, and other than hops, I am not sure what I can add as I am fairly new to brewing.

Free wort? Hell, get crazy with it! If it turns out terrible, at least you didn't pay for it!

Toasted coconut, pineapple and mango. Tropical pale ale. Most of the people involved will go the ipa route...

1. Coconut and lightly toasted oak
2. Reboil, up IBU to around 80, toss some plain sugar in to dry it out and dryhop the **** out of it.
3. Fruit// Mango, Apricot, Peach, Tangerine Anything light colored and tart.
4. Add some apple juice before ferment to make a graff
5. Graff from #4 with any of 1,2,3 done also.

Man this is a great competition, wish i had something like this around me!!
Best part is 200gal of "transformation" coming back for everyone to sample!
