ok this is my second batch of hard cider, first batch got contaminated some how after fermentation it had a scum on top and smelt bad so i tossed it. Second batch i think is done (10 days now and i use the Levein dry yeast or one of the Levein family) no more from air lock dropped sanitized hydro in it and its at 1.000, SMELLS great! tasted and it is really DRY i think ? this is a 1.5 gal batch and i used brown sugar at the start, so how to make it taste sweeter before i move it out of the primary? going to put into 1/2 gal growlers...
