Yesterday I experienced my first beer competition, UpCup in Bloomington IN. What an awesome event! Got a chance to tour the brewery, and received some great feedback on how to improve my beer. I entered a DIPA using all citra hops and scored a 32. I'm very happy with this score, as I've only been brewing for just under a year.

Great job buddy!!

Ive been brewing for almost 2 years now and haven't had the balls to enter a comp!

Im sure the judges gave you recommendations on how to improve your beer, constructive criticism is the birth of all invention!

Good luck in the future!
Cheers!

Thanks! The feedback from the judges is the sole reason I entered. I knew I wasn't placing or taking home any prizes, but to finally get an unbiased opinion and tips for how to improve is the best part.
