Ive posted on here before about our homebrewing contests so I thought Id share an update and post the new contest. Weve now have selected three winning homebrews from previous contests and our contract brewer is getting his brewhouse built as I type so look for some Middle Brow beer on shelves and in bars later in the summer. But while thats going on we are also starting our third contest around the theme of Belgian Yeast. Were always looking for creativity so hopefully well get some Belgian Mildss or Belgian Stoutss besides a Belgian Tripel/Dubbel. ((barrel aged or lacto/brett/wild yeasts wont be accepted though))
Submissions are due July 27th, 2013. The contest will be judged by BJCP judges and our friends in the craft beer and beer blogging community. You can register and read the official Rules and Regulations, Entry Information and Bottle ID Forms for the contest at our eventbrite page (http://middlebrowbelgian.eventbrite.com/). We ask that you register by July 12th so we can line-up the right amount of judges. And please feel free to visit our facebook page for more information about our company, and feel free also to throw us a "like," if youre so inclined. (http://www.facebook.com/middlebrow)
I know some of you guys arent close to Chicago so we have some suburban drop off locations too. Read up on the eventbrite page for details and shipping is also an option. If you register, just email us or PM me and I can provide an address to ship too. The guy that came in second (whose beer were still brewing) during our first contest shipped from a suburb a 100 miles out.
