So I brewed my first allgrain batch last night and because I am brewing in my apartment I am trying to get 6 gallons to boil I threw the lid on and at around 212 degrees I removed the lid to watch for the hot break then I noticed the weirdest thing On the top of the wort is was grey!! Has anyone ever seen this?

I just recreated an ipa that I originally made with extract. I used 2-row and 10L also I used a 10 gallon cooler mash tun.

I used all stainless steel.

I pic would be nice. Havent seen a grey skin on any of my brews. Was it possibly some grain flour? Was this Extract/PM/AG?

It was AG and I should have taken a pic of it last night If it happens again I will take one.

It was on the film of the top of the wort right before the hot break.
