I built the box below so i can get into brewing some fine German lagers. Check it out.
What the whole box looks like:
Top open:
Removable side for easy fermator access:
Looking from other direction:
Looking in:
There is a small amount of ice in it now but i had about 3 gallons of snow before to drop the temperature quickly.
Once there, it doesn't seem to take alot. We will see how well this works in the dogs days of summer!
I use a remote thermometer so i can keep track of it from my kitchen.
Your thoughts?
