When designing a recipe in Beersmith if I add Lactose to the grain bill the final gravity actually drops. Why is this? I was under the impression that lactose was non fermentable and would increase the FG by quite a bit.

This problem has already been noted to Brad who has assured us that it will be fixed on the next update, as well as the issues with maltodextrin

Thanks, I searched but didn't see anything. Guess I'll have to do the old fashioned math to figure final gravity.
