Cold Crash in a Speidel 30L

When cold crashing with the Speidel, I've been removing the airlock, and screwing on the cap. Will loosening the cap to relieve pressure once during the process be more likely to oxidize the beer than just covering with foil? Would I be better off just leaving the airlock on with some vodka in it during cold crash?

My thoughts are to remove the airlock cap a day or two before cold crashing and replace it with the solid top, the vessel will pressurize slightly, the Speidel can hold that, then cold crash and the co2 will be absorbed into the beer, with no suck-in due to temperature change
 
Lately I put the sealed lid on mine and put it outside (40 to 50 degrees) for a day before bottling.
