Hey guys,
Are there any precautions I should know about before using Belgian Candi Syrup while making a Belgian IPA? Is it going to scorch on my heating element? Should I just add it to the primary when transferring or will I be ok to slowly add and stir it to my kettle?

I have not done it but I would think kill the heat and stir it in.

I added a pound of D-45 syrup to a dubbel I e-brewed last Saturday. Do it just like you would add LME into a boil over propane. No problems.
