Like the subject says, we transferred to secondary and there appears to be small particulate floating here and there. Not a lot, a few odd specks here and there.

The beer is dark and the specks seem to be around the top but hard to tell without moving it around too much. Don't think this stuff was there when we racked from primary and the carboy was clean.

Thoughts?

Agreed, this is just some trub residue, and is perfectly normal. This is why I like to secondary - had you been racking to the bottling bucket, these trub bits would have gone into it. Instead, all of these flecks will settle to the bottom, and you'll leave almost every bit of it behind.

You can minimize this by moving your fermenter several hours before you rack. This gives most of the stuff you might have kicked up a chance to settle back down. Still, you're probably going to get a little bit most of the time.
