Has anyone ever heard of Carl Mofield? I hadn't until this afternoon. Here's the story:
I'm a member of paperbackswap.com and today I received a copy of The Complete Handbook of Home Brewing by Dave Miller. Inside it had a name stamped and date. The name was Carl Mofield and the date Apr 07 1990.
Curiosity got me so I decided to google the name. Came up with some hits, but then I added beer to the search and came up with an obituary: San Francisco Region SCCA - Carl Mofield
The obituary even said beer making was one of his interests.
I'm going to assume this book came from his library that was probably sold off after he passed. I think I'll name one of my next beers in his honor
