I've had a sanke keg washer for some time now and have finally gotten around to making an adapter to clean my carboys. It is simply a 3/4" PVC pipe with a spray nozzle on it (similar design to most out there). My issue is that after a couple minutes the bucket starts to overflow with suds! I've tried Oxiclean Free and PBW....... Is it a design flaw?

I think I've figured it out...... With the pump on the return water flows from the carboy into the bucket like the Cheat River at flood stage! I put an on/off hose valve on it and restricted the flow enough that it's a gentle return into the bucket..... No more overflowing suds!
