I used hop bags for this last batch and decided to put the last hop addition from the boil into the carboy to hopefully add some flavor. Does anyone see a problem with that? Any possibility of the hop bag creating bacteria? It was the last hop addition to the boil and it boiled for 15 minutes.

I used a hop bag for a dry hop a couple batches ago... Didn't cause any issues. Didn't really help anything either... Haven't used one since!

I don't see an issue, but don't think it'll do anything for your beer. You've really gotten all you're going to get out of your hops from the kettle additions before it's cooled to your fermentation temperature (I think, someone correct me if I'm wrong).
