Note: The formula used to convert a common sugar refractometer such that it will read a calcium chloride (CaCl2) solution in units of BRIX was graciously provided by AJ deLange. I must note that I have not tested it for accuracy. No guarantees. Requires much welcomed and appreciated testing and verification.
The spreadsheet calculator linked below computes the mL's of CaCl2 solution required whereby to deliver a desired gram quantity of either the Anhydrous or Dihydrate form Calcium Chloride.
