This isn't about growing but buying hops. I understand fresh is better but how much better? I see homebrew shops selling hops from 2012 at really good prices. Will it make my beer not up to par by purchasing a year old hops? Should I wait for the new shipments?

As far as I know 2012 is about as recent as they get right now, new hop sales usually occur during fall....
