This question is really for the faction of brewers who tend towards the 1 month primary, then bottle. I fall into this. I'm curious though, do people in this faction ever cut thier primary times shorter for IPAs? The motivation I see is that hop character dissipates as a function of time.

Cheers

I've been fermenting for a week, adding dryhop for 2 weeks and bottling then, and I'm very pleased with the results

Do you typically ferment other (basic) styles longer, or are your IPAs more quick into the bottle? Also, do you dry hop in primary or rack onto them in a secondary?
