Hello all, first of all I want to say I hope everyone is safe and healthy in this crazy times.I was recently debating, since my brew store is closed and I'm out of malted grains, but I still have some unmalted one.i was thinking of sprouting them than right after blitz them in blender or something and brew beer right away.sure beer Smith won't work here,so it will take some flexibility and creativity, the ultimate question is,will it work?my guess is, that's how beer had to be brewed before they discovered proper drying temperature not to kill the enzymes, opinion please?

You get flavor from the kilning process. It won't be anything like you are used to, but you should be able to produce alcohol. If you are bored and looking to experiment, go for it.
