Hello all,

Wondered if there would be any problems boiling 2 of the same extract kits at once to make two 5 gallon batches? I'm using a digiboil with 9 gallon capacity and have a chiller that would work. Then using a Y fitting would drain into 2 separate buckets and top off from there. Is there anything I'm missing that would make this not work? The reason behind this idea is then a buddy and I would each get a batch out of one boil. Thanks for your input!

I don't see any problem with that at all. Boil, split, top off. I see folks doing this frequently with 10 gallon all grain for various reasons (2 kegs, yeast trials, etc.)
