Upside down Therminator?

Does anybody know of the importance of mounting as instructed? Due to my stand configuration I would like to mount it upside down. Mainly so the wort out is facing me and my pump to control the flow and temp. But it says operate this side up.
The sanitize part I can see due to trapped air they claim but for chilling??

If you use it upside down the wort and water may not fill every plate, making it less efficient

If you hold the face plate and back you can turn it to the position you would like. I operate mine at a weird 45 degree angle because that's my system. Let me know if you have any trouble.
