New to brewing - kegged my second batch last weekend and carbonated M-W.

In first batch, keg and picnic taps worked perfectly.

In this second batch (same keg) - nothing is coming out when tap is pressed (getting a little bit of beer head in the line, but no real flow). The keg is pressurized appropriately and keeping the pressure.

I assumed that there may have been some sediment in the line, so I pulled the dip tube out. It did have some sediment in the line and on the connector, so I cleaned that out, and also cleaned out the picnic tap again.

I re-assembled all, and tried again. Same result.

I'm stressed and worried that I've got a keg of beer and no way to drink it! Like I said, I'm new, so I'm hoping I'm just missing something obvious here.

I have had this problem when I got "Hop sediment" in the tube...

It is an issue around the pop-it usually.Check to see if it is HOPS... if so you can.

Easy Fix - if only a little gunk is in there
  1. Shake up the keg
  2. Set it at an angle so the hops settle to one side
  3. Leave it in that position
  4. Depressurize
  5. Clean the "Out" again, pop-it and tube
  6. Re-assemble with it still to one side
  7. BEFORE YOU DRAW BEER
  8. Move it to the serving location
  9. make sure Hop-stuff is not near drawtube
  10. Let it settle for a day and test.
  11. Try not to move the keg until empty

Extreame Fix:
  1. Sanitize a nylon bag.
  2. Sanitize you tubing and Cobra-Tap
  3. Open the Cobra Tap and encase the Bag around it
  4. Transfer the beer to another keg by:
  5. Depressurizing your keg
  6. Remove the Post
  7. Take out the pop-it
  8. return the post
  9. Connect the "out" tubing"
  10. put the end in a empty keg (the bag should capture the gunk)
  11. turn on the gas
  12. when full ou the top on and purge O2

Thank you! Re-adjusting the kegs and the lines made everything work.
