Has anyone had any luck getting hbd.org to connect lately? I've used The Beer Recipator for my recipe formulation for years, but the website hasn't responded to me for the last week. I'm really hoping they're not gone for good!

Still not working, this is not good. I have been using this site for 7 years and always suspected that it would vanish some day since it seems to be a ghost town. Nothing has been updated since I started using it...

Just found this: http://hbddotorg.blogspot.com/

Looks like HBD has gone bankrupt and is moving from the commercial connection to a hosted solution... whatever that means. Basically, the well ran dry:

Subject: HBD On The Move...

Greetings, Beerlings! Take me to your lager...

At long last, I've initiated the move of the HBD from its commercial
connection to a hosted solution. I will do my best to keep you abreast
of progress, but be aware that the HBD itself (the email list) may be
knocked out of commission while I wrangle the code to conform to its
new environment - I'll run both systems in parallel until either the
new server will run the scripts, or until the HBD coffers run dry.
Unfortunately, I'll have to whack the existing connection as I simply
cannot afford to run a deficit in the HBD treasury against my own
budget at this time. Hopefully, I'll be able to get the scripts
running under their new environment before that happens.

Not news, that has been going on for a long time. I contributed to the effort to support it a while back. Pat will get things working in the new environment before too long.
-Worked for me yesterday.

Happy update: I've been trying every few days. On 9 November the site seemed to be back up again! :mug:

Here's hoping it is back to stay!
