Hey guys, there is a sale going on at a local homebrew supply near me that is taking requests for Omega, White Labs, Wyeast, and Imperial strains. I'm not really sure what to get and was wondering if anyone had some good recommendations. I'm pretty open to trying new styles, so I wouldn't reject anything in particular. Thanks!

Well, the possibilities are endless. I tend to use dry yeast most of the time but there are a few liquid yeasts that I really like.

1. Imperial Harvest for just about any lager. Does pretty well at ale Temps also.
2. Wyeast 1318 London Ale 3 for NEIPA or strong British styles.
3. Wyeast Dennys Favorite for American amber/brown ale....or IPA... or just about anything flavorful.

If you have access to Imperial and you like English pale ales, get yourself some Pub. It's the closest you'll get to Fuller's marmalade. Better than 1968/002.

Some of the new(er) Omega strains with the thiol producing stuff
