So I don't know if ya'll have seen it yet, but HD has copper pipe on clearance DIRT ChEAP!!! I just bought 5/8" x 50' for $37 out the door that was regular priced at $110. Anywho, I did this so I can grow into it because I only do partial boils right now. I do have plans to expand (hopefully in the near future) to a 10 gallon ekettle and a mash tun to go all grain. Is this a waste for my partial boils for the time being?
Edit: I forgot to mention that I do pretty well with my ice bath now. I use frozen store bought gallon jugs of water for top up/chilling while in my ice bath with rock salt. I got to lagering temps for my Oktoberfest with no issues.
Edit 2: So I just looked at the package...I grabbed a 60' x 1/2" roll. The question still applies to this though.
