After seeing all the great brew rigs here, I thought I would attempt to build one. I have only brewed 2 all grain batches, so my skills and equipment are minimal.
I started with a shelving unit from Menards, 10 gallon brew kettle, 5 gallon HLT, and 10 gallon cooler MLT.
I think I need:
2 burners
Valve/thermometer for the HLT
upper valve for MLT
pump, hoses, etc
I'll mount the burners and propane lines under the bottom shelf, build a top shelf out of concrete board, install the pump and tubing, etc. I should be able to use the same pump for pumping water into the MLT and later pumping wort to the fermenter. i currently use an immersion chiller that can be used with this rig.
Anyone see anything I'm missing? comments, etc?
Thanks,
