Question for ya'll I'm makeing a small batch of rootbeer for my nephew for his birthday and i decided to make a simple extract recipe since its my first time making root beer. The recipe calls for bakers yeast to act as the carbinator, my concern is yeast+suger=alcohol, right? how is there no alcohol in the rootbeer is it due to the type of yeast? Please help I dont want to get an eight year old drunk! lol
