So I bought a 1950s coldspot freezer that when I bought it I thought it was a refrigerator. My question is, can I swap out the thermostat and make it a fridge, if so how do I do that? Thanks for any help. :ban:

A temp controller can make it whatever temp you want. I would be concerned that it is one of the models where the lines are part of the built in shelves.

This is a Picture of the freezer, I think the thermostat is at the bottom. Would could I just swap it out with a refrigerator thermostat?

That Johnson temp controller is all you need to plug it in and set it to whatever temp you want.

It does look like the shelves are the part of the cooling though. General food/bottle storage would be fine, fermenter or kegs is another story.
