been a while but I finally decided to get back into kegging...this make #4 that I've owned, #3 that I've built.

circa 1947 Westinghouse. original freon and compressor still running strong and will run in the 20s. came out of a meat market so I just cleaned the outside a bit then sealed the blood stains and patina with Penetrol oil. Stripped entire door to treat typical bottom door rust then made a new door panel cause the original was broken all along the edges and a new door gasket.

fits 3 kegs and a 20# tank...tight but it fits...not sure what to do with the freezer cubby hole...can you freeze hops without damage?

That's cool. The previous sixties stuff is built like tanks and will out last everything.
Love the patina, round top and meat cleaver handles.
Any pics of the inside?

I had to build a raised platform since the back was sloped. There is room for 4 kegs but that would require a very slender pony tank in the middle or perhaps a pair of small tanks in the freezer compartment (which might allow a separate nitrogen set-up) but there is the issue of the tanks getting frozen in place, mandating a full defrost to service the CO2 tanks.
