10 gal conversion ?

good morning all brewers
im building a 10 gal cooler mlt(not round style).
i see alot of bazooka style screens used .would using two screen type tubes make the process any better?

I think you might be better off with a manifold setup. It would cover more surface area on the bottom of your mash than a bazooka tube.

I made a manifold out of copper. I didn't have a way to cut slits so I drilled holes. Works great. Except I drilled the holes a little too big. I wrap a paint screen around it, filters everything out and has never gotten a stuck mash with heavy wheat recipes.
