1/4 line or 5/16

What is the advantage if any with 1/4 gas line vs 5/16 looking to see what way to go with my distributor.

Gas line doesn't matter - beverage line matters, to keep the CO2 in the beer at pressure. Many of us use 3/16 bev line, 5-6 feet in length, regulator pressure between 10 and 12psi.

From my discussions with keg users, 1/4 line is fine until you have 20+ taps -- then they suggest moving up to 5/16.
