    i finley went out and bought some square tubing and got to building. this so far has taken my 2 days before i went to work. kinda nice working 3:30pm to 11:30pm . over all the main part of the stand is 52"Lx16"Wx20"H i put a bracket on the end to hold a whole house water filter. still hace...

    Copper Conical Fermenter??

    I bought a 4x8 sheet a few years ago was going to use it as my bar top. but have changed ideas. i could think of something else that design would be good for all you would have to do is put a full bottom on it and flip it over add your whort chiller and be set.:rockin: lol

    here this is what you could do with 6-8 hours of stencil cutting. i did this for my new niece. it measures 16" w 20" h i need to frame it.

    if everyone wants to do a bunch of the same etching's etch world sells this it is a reusable stencil. it is made for there small sand blasting kit i dont know if it will work for liquid etching...

    Wind. Freaking Wind!

    you learn to live with the wind in this state, i have lived here most of my life. i do most of my brewing in the garage or in the house on the stove. we hade 70+ mph winds here last week, blew my grill over and broke a door off.

    i use clear contact paper or packing tape for smaller items. just cut out what you want etched. the beer bottle i did i just printed of some black and white shipping lables.

    that is a verry good idea, i have been glass etching off and on for 20+ years and never thought of that. but i did think of these. these are ones i did a couple of months ago this is a 1 gallon jug i did for wine making

    insulating mash tun

    i have a question about insulating a direct fired mash tun. has anybody tried using kaowool. the stuff used for forges,kilns and refractory furnice, and fire pruffing gun safes. it is ceramic and can withstand up 2300 deg. i planed on putting a secondry jacket around it. almost like a water...
