    Aren't the vast majority of yeast derived flavors from the initial yeast growth phase? What if you added the Belle yeast half way through fermentation? How much saison character would be produced? Someone has had to have tried this.

    Do you like your Blichmann Hop Rocket?

    I like it but I rarely use it because it's just one more thing you have to clean. I think as far as hoppy beers go, if you're already FWHing, hop standing, dry hopping, etc... You can't really notice any added flavor or aroma. I've never used it as a Randal however.

    Question on chugger pumps

    I use a CFC, after boil, pump from kettle to CFC and then to carboy. Anything touching the pump is near boiling so sanitation shouldn't be an issue.
