I disagree with the OP. The Italian Bottling Spigot cannot be cleaned. Stay away from it. The white 2 piece spigots work well and can be cleaned easily.

I purchase this capper in the early 70s. Used it for a few batches and then stored it. Brought it out of storage 4 years ago when I restarted home brewing. Stored in a very hot garage for 15 years. It works great on all sizes of bottels. These can be found on eBay. I highly recommend them...

I was getting HBO for free the last three months from Time Warner. Spent at least four Sundays watching GOT marathons. Also saw the first two episodes of season five. The freebe ended. Too cheap to purchase HBO, but I am already having withdrawal symptoms. Great series. I will miss it. :(

The above was from 12/2013. I have visited the store 3 times in 2014. The first 2 visits showed the same lack of inventory. However my visit yesterday was much more productive. Only one item I was looking to purchase was out of stock. Overall inventory looked much better. I hope this means...
